SLIDEWINDER RING'S GALLERY

You have never played anything like this before... YOUTUBE CHANNEL

New! SlideWinder ring on bass guitar… This was a raw experiment…that worked. What: 3 SlideWinder rings, on 1 bass, with no bass players. (I am not a bassist so I don't count.) Technique: with the exception of occasionally using right hand for plucking…my fingers never touch the strings. Almost all sounds…are only made by the rings touching the strings. Result: the left hand ring simulates a fretless bass. The bass has frets. The ring doesn't use frets, or need them, because the ring is, in fact, a magnetic floating fret. Most of the sound you hear is the ring…playing itself. As you pull away, the ring releases the strong with a nice "pop"…literally playing the string for you. (That's why you see me doing almost nothing to create all those sounds. Nothing else does that.) The right hand creates a really easy slap, pick, and pop…no work at all. Again, the ring is playing the strings…NOT my fingers. Conclusion: this is ridiculous fun! Stupid easy…and wicked cool! Bassists: we are calling all bassists to meet us at NAMM booth 1253, to try our SlideWinder technology yourself. If a stupid non-bassist like me can figure this out in a couple hours on my own…can you imagine what YOU could do? Let's see, eh? Thanks for watching. SlideWinder Ring: the world's most advanced anolog guitar technology. This clip shows the unmatched speed, precision, sustain, control, articulation, and a few new sounds only playable using this patent-pending electromagnetic innovation. SlideWinder Active Analog technology is totally NEW. Any resemblance to anything you played or heard before is purely coincidental. SlideWinder rings are available for a limited time at: reverb.com The guitar: Year 1938 (yes, not a typo, it's pre-WWII) vintage Gibson EH100: one of Gibson's first electric guitars, recently adapted to play standing up ("standing steel"). (I will explain in future postings how this guitar was modified and adapted to play this way. We have never seen this done before, and trust me, it's super-fun, and hyoer-cool!) It is signed by 2 guitar legends who played it: 1) Thomas Nordegg: current guitar tech for Steve Vai, and before Vai, Frank Zappa. One of the great guitar technology gurus of all time. 2) Doug Doppler: Doug recorded many sound tracks for the original Guitar Hero, the most popular video game of all time. Doug also founded GearTunes, after taking lessons from Joe Satriani and then taking over Joe's teaching practice, in Berkeley, CA. We will be featuring this guitar and its monstrous tone spectrum in videos, playing it standing up with 2 SlideWinder rings. Please stay tuned for some surprises you have never seen or heard before using this guitar and these rings. #slideguitarist, #guitars, #innovation, #lapsteel, #lapsteelguitar, #steelguitar, #hawaiianguitar, #hawaiianguitars, #hawaiiansliders, #pedalsteel, #pedalsteelguitar, #lapslide, #lapslideguitar, #slidewinderring, #opentunings, #vintagegibson, #gibsonlapsteel, #vintagegibsonguitar, #vintagegibsons, #vintageguitarposts #pedalsteel, #pedalsteelguitar, #lapslide, #lapslideguitar, #slidewinderring, #opentunings, #vintagegibson, #gibsonlapsteel, #vintagegibsonguitar, 1938 vintage Gibson EH100: one of Gibson's first electric guitars, recently adapted to play standing up ("standing steel").
